This 3mm solid YG10X heavy-duty burr is manufactured from an ultra-fine grain tungsten carbide material with high cobalt content (approximately 10%). The YG10X material offers an excellent balance of impact toughness and wear resistance among carbides, specifically designed to handle demanding interrupted cutting and heavy-load machining of high-strength ferrous metals such as cast iron and cast steel.

The slender 3mm diameter ensures high rigidity while allowing flexible access to narrow casting risers, deep grooves, or complex internal cavities for powerful cleaning and shaping. While maintaining a high material removal rate, this tool offers greater resistance to common issues like work hardening and edge chipping, making it highly suitable for foundry deburring, mold repair, and on-site maintenance of heavy equipment.
