The SH-5M is a double cut carbide burr with an AlTiN coating. This coating makes the tool harder and more heat-resistant, which helps it last longer when working on tough materials like stainless steel, titanium, and hardened steel. The double cut design removes material quickly while leaving a relatively smooth surface.
