The SD-5M D12.711 is a semi-finished carbide preform made from YG8 tungsten carbide. YG8 contains 8% cobalt, offering a good balance of toughness and wear resistance — making it suitable for custom rotary burrs used in general metalworking, deburring, surface blending, and weld preparation.
